The suede finish mats are deemed our most “eco-friendly” being made out of natural rubber. Additionally, containing no PVC or other synthetic rubbers, the natural rubber tapped from trees are sustainable and gives the mat more cushioning, allowing for an enhanced grip handling. Comprised of 100% high-quality microfiber suede surface, the yoga mats are biodegradable with fabrics being completely soft and gentle on the skin. The designs are heat transferred onto the yoga mats, using a heat-pressing machine. This allows near no limitations in terms of design, and we can do photo quality, and multiple colours and designs.
You can clean the mats with warm water, soap and a sponge.
Most conventional yoga mats are made with PVC (polyvinyl chloride). In addition, plasticizers (such as lead, cadmium, dioxin or phthalates) are used to make the mats sticky and pliable thereby increasing their toxicity. However, our mats are made from natural materials that are non-toxic, with no PVC and latex.
1. Obtaining the Natural Rubber
Disrupt yoga mats are deemed eco-friendly being made out of natural rubber from trees. Additionally, containing no PVC or other synthetic rubbers, the natural rubber tapped from trees are sustainable and gives the mat more cushioning, allowing for an enhanced grip handling.
2. Making the MicroFiber
Comprised of 100% high quality micro-fiber suede surface, the yoga mats are biodegradable with fabrics being completely soft and gentle on the skin.
3. Joining the materials
The two materials is then joined with a non-toxic water base glue that is also free of BPA, PVC, phthalate, lead, dioxin and other harmful chemicals. The mat is pressed down using a hydraulic press to ensure the two sides are firmly held together for years to come.
4. Heat transferring the design
Lastly, the designs are then heat transferred onto the yoga mats, using a heat-pressing machine. This allows for long lasting, integrated designs that won’t fade when it’s washed.
